About Us

Laura Burton found herself unemployed amidst the 2008 the national financial crisis. She and her husband, Mike Burton, already owned an embroidery machine. With the purchase of an existing screen-printing business, the couple started operating out of their garage. Their business became DMB Embroidery, named after their first-born son, Dillon Michael Burton, who passed away at the age of six months in 1993.

The Burton’s garage business grew under Laura’s leadership, becoming the favorite local supplier of Lancer gear, corporate merchandise, event  T-shirts and other custom work. Laura and Mike, with their eye on more space, purchased and fixed up the East Center Cross building in downtown Edinburgh, IN for the new home for DMB Embroidery. They have been there, continuing to run their company, since 2021.
